We built TripFrame because we were tired of the same problem.
TripFrame is built by Ray and Josh, co-founders of bugme.travel, on 40+ years of combined experience as adventure guides and tourism operators across Canada, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
bugme.travel (officially "Don't BUGMe I'm On Vacation") is Ray and Josh's road-trip planning platform. Instead of algorithm-driven search results and pay-to-play listings, it helps travelers discover authentic local experiences through guided intuition — and helps the small tourism operators behind those experiences reach travelers directly, without handing over a huge cut to do it. Along the way we kept running into the same story: the operators who are best at their craft are rarely the ones with time to manage a photo backlog. Guides who can read a rapid or spot a grizzly at four hundred metres were emailing full-resolution photos one at a time, or leaning on a shared folder link that guests could never quite figure out how to open.
That is the whole idea behind TripFrame: the parts of the business that are not guiding — photo delivery, in this case — should not compete for the guide's attention with the parts that actually matter. Upload the photos, and let the platform handle getting them into a guest's hands in high definition, with nothing for either side to install or figure out.
We believe in the same three-sided idea that shaped bugme.travel: travelers should get more of what made the trip worth taking, local operators should not have to give up a huge cut to reach them, and the people doing the actual guiding should spend their time guiding.
Where TripFrame is at right now
TripFrame is early. We are working directly with a small group of operators to get album creation, photo upload, and guest delivery right before opening things up more broadly. If that is you, we would rather hear what you actually need than guess.
